Real Madrid renews interest in signing Neymar

5th August, 2019

The debate on the next destination for Neymar after his PSG sojourn is surely not about to end so soon with the many twists that come up on virtually daily basis. As it stands right now, no one knows his next move. The only clear thing is the fact that he wants to leave PSG as fast as possible.

It is however also clear that for whatever reason, PSG will prefer to sell the player to Real Madrid instead of Barcelona.

Not unexpectedly, the Madrid giants are now back in the hunt for Brazilian, this time looking to get him on loan, according to Diario SPORT.

The option of a loan with an optional purchase clause has been rumored lately, with Barcelona as the destination. However, this loan option being put forth on the table seems to have re-ignited Madrid’s pursuit of the Brazilian.

SPORT reports that Florentino Pérez is very keen on the signing, despite the fact that the manager, Zinedine Zidane, is not really  interested and prefers to sign Paul Pogba from Manchester United.

There are also claims that PSG are starting to see the Neymar situation as an impossible one to maintain, which opens up avenues for both La Liga giants to bring the forward in.

However, while the Parisians are said to prefer to send Neymar to Madrid, whether that actually happens depends on the player himself.

Would he be willing to cross the rivalry that exists in el clásico?

There is also the fact that Neymar once already rejected Madrid when he initially signed for Barcelona. Will his stance continue?

Right now, there is no doubt that as Barça and PSG continue negotiations, it seems that Madrid will be informed every step of the way.
