The hard guy has spoken and so it is. When the going gets tough, the tough gets going.

In the face of some criticisms and doubts arising from the loss of the 2018 EURO Super Cup match against local rivals, Athletico Madrid, the Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos has come out to say that there are no doubts in him that the European champions will reign supreme again.

Local rivals, Athletico have been on song in the Spanish capital since they got the edge of Real as they ran away with a 4-2 win in Tallinn on Wednesday.

This has naturally brought about a whole lot of criticisms, doubts and more to the Los Blancos camp. It not unexpected that some people have even linked recent happening to the departure of former club talisman, Cristiano Ronaldo and erudite manager, Zinedine Zidane from the team.

Real lost their first international final since 2000 as doubts emerged regarding the state of the team following the departure of the afore-mentioned duo.

As a responsible captain, Ramos has now come out to douse all the tension presently building around the team by going to the social media to issue a rallying call to the supporters of Real Madrid.

The captain had the following to say to the fans:

“We learn something from every defeat. We will make this badge win again,” Ramos wrote on Twitter. “No one will doubt it.

“#HalaMadrid yesterday, today, tomorrow and forever.”

Real Madrid gets an opportunity to assuage the fears of its fans and restore their belief in them when they open their LaLiga campaign against Getafe at the Santiago Bernabeu on Sunday.
