It promises to be a very thrilling encounter on Sunday afternoon in Singapore as two very entertaining soccer national teams go head to head in an international friendly. Current COPA America Champions Brazil takes on Nigeria in what promises lots of dribbles and very likely goals also.
The latest news about the game has it that Brazil coach, Tite, has hinted at making at least two changes to his starting line-up for Sunday’s international friendly against Nigeria.
Reports emanating from TV Globo has it that Alex Sandro and Barcelona loanee Philippe Coutinho, did not play for the possible starting XI during Saturday’s final session.
It was also noticed that Renan Lodi replaced the Juventus left-back, while Everton Cebolinha started on the left side of attack. PSG superstar Neymar will also very likely replace Coutinho in the Brazilian attack.
The tactical formation tested at the training had Ederson Moraes in goal while the back four comprised of Daniel Alves, Marquinhos, Thiago Silva and Renan Lodi. Casemiro, Arthur and Neymar lined up in midfield and the strikers were Gabriel Jesus, Roberto Firmino and Everton.
As far as Nigeria is concerned, there have been some withdrawals from the original squad named by coach Gernot Rohr due to various reasons.
The most recent withdrawal involves midfielder Peter Etebo who did not travel due to a visa issues whereas Kenneth Omeruo, Ola Aina and Samuel Kalu are all missing through injury.
