The “Baby Face Assassin” is back at Manchester United. This time around as a coach. And suddenly a hitherto unstable ManU team has become a bunch of “Assassins” on the soccer pitch.

Manchester United players welcomed their new coach, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, in a very special way as they went, saw and demolished a hapless Cardiff City squad by a whopping 5 goals to 1 away from home.

Even when many people foresaw a Manchester United win, they were surely not expecting it to happen the way it did. Not after the so many lack-luster performances of the team so far this season.

It was simply a return to the good old days of the Old Trafford team. Those days when the name of the team was enough to scare the shit out of their opponents. Yes, those were the days when the present coach was a player with the team.

Interestingly, the players on duty in this game against Cardiff City were still the same ones who were playing under the immediate past coach, Jose Mourinho.

So, what has changed? Well, whatever it is that changed, the supporters of the team are hoping that this change will remain for a long time to come.

Cardiff City were simply unlucky to be playing against Manchester United at this point in time and surely would have preferred to have played this match before now.

They just did not know what hit them as the rampaging Manchester United players forced them to be in the back seat throughout the game.

Suddenly, there is now hope that the up-coming Champions League game against Paris St. Germain is not a fore-gone case after all.

With the way the Reds played yesterday, the Neymar led PSG are surely in for the battle of their lives when they face this resurgent Manchester United side. It is never easy to play against a squad of “assassins” in a match.

Manchester United’s next opponent in the league is Huddersfield and that will the home debut game for the “Baby Face Assassin”.

I honestly do not envy the players and supporters of Huddersfield right now. Even though there is a saying that anything can happen in the game of football, something tells me that there is only one thing that can happen in this particular match.
