After the sensational acquisition of Cristiano Ronaldo by the Italian Soccer Giants, Juventus F.C., the next question on the lips of the supporters of the club and fans of CR7 is naturally this one here: “When will Cristiano Ronaldo play his first game in the colours of Juventus F.C.?”
No one should blame the fans for their impatience because this is one situation virtually no one expected to happen just a few weeks ago. If anyone had expected Ronaldo to make a switch from Real Madrid, it was surely not to be in the direction of Juve but possibly Manchester United, Paris St. Germain and the likes.
But then, lightening struck!
Juve surprised everybody including their own supporters by landing CR7 safely in Turin. Now the supporters just cannot wait for that day when this excellent footballer will make his debut in their club’s colours, especially at the home stadium.
Many people are hoping to see him in the Juve Colours as early as in the on-going International Champions Cup in the United States. As a matter of fact, the opportunity to watch him play against Real Madrid at the competition is a very “mouth-watering” one but the chances of that happening might just be quite small.
That is because Ronaldo like many stars who featured at the just concluded 2018 World Cup Competition held in Russia were given some more time to recuperate before rejoining their teams for the new season’s games.
And so back to the main question; “When will the supporters have the opportunity to see Ronaldo adorn the Juventus jersey for the first time in a match?”
From the situation of things as they stand, Cristiano might just be playing in the club’s colours for the very first time during Juve’s customary friendly against their youth team in Villar Perosa (which serves as the home of Juventus president Andrea Agnelli’s family) on August 12.
