Marcus Rashford in his current form will always attract the attention of any serious football club but the fact that he is a Manchester United player means that only the elite teams can consider prying him away from Old Trafford.
That is exactly what is happening right now as Barcelona who belong to that elite class of football teams is now rumoured to be considering moving for the acquisition of the young talented England striker.
This piece of news is of a disturbing one for the Manchester United management and fans alike as the striker is presently one of the players that Manchester United virtually cannot do without their services as things stand at the moment.
It has emerged in public domain that Marcus Rashford has emerged as one of Barcelona’s top summer transfer targets, according to the Mirror.
The Spanish Soccer giants are, like fierce rivals Real Madrid set for a summer of rebuilding and are interested in signing the England international as they look to the future.
As to be expected however, Manchester United has no intention of parting company with the twenty-one-year-old, who has played over one hundred and sixty times since breaking into the first team in the 2015/16 campaign.
Rashford has so far scored forty-four club goals in that time, and has winner’s medals in FA Cup, EFL Cup and Europa League while he has been capped thirty-one times for his England.
The young talented striker has nine league goals so far this season – his best return in a campaign since he turned professional and can be backed at a price of 17/5 to open the scoring with what would be his tenth, against Watford on Saturday.
