Barcelona F.C. takes on  Primera Division newcomers, Huesca at Camp Nou in a few hours time in an attempt to continue their 100 per cent start to the 2018-19 Liga season.

The team have begun their title defence well, recording consecutive victories in their opening two games of the campaign, defeating Alaves and Real Valladolid. Today’s game is a must win one for Barca if they intend to keep pace with Real Madrid who are presently occupying the top spot on the league table.

Huesca will however fancy their chances in today’s game as they not only have remained unbeaten so far in the LaLiga but surprised many people in their last game when they were able to snatch a point from Athletic Bilbao in an away game.

This informs the expectations of Barca Manager, Valverde of a difficult match for his wards. According to him,

“They are undefeated after playing at two tough stadiums like Ipurua and San Mames,” the Barcelona boss told reporters ahead of the game. “They will stand up to us and be looking to surprise us, because they’ll be coming into the game with enthusiasm.”

The Barcelona Manager has been experimenting with different team formations for some time now. He used a 4-4-2 formation when his team played against Alaves but then decided on a 4-3-3 one against Valladolid.

This is not surprising as the team has new players who have to be fitted properly into the team’s style of football. It will be no surprise if today’s game is used to try out yet another formation.

The manager has named an 18-man squad for this match and the likely starting line-up for Barcelona may just look like this:

Ter Stegen; Roberto, Pique, Umtiti, Alba; Busquets, Rakitic, Coutinho; Messi, Dembele, Suarez.

As for Huesca, the team is likely to feature the same squad  that played their last match against Athletic Bilbao and in which case, we are expecting the following starting line-up:

Werner; Etxeita, Luisinho, Pulido, Miramon; Musto, Gomez, Melero; Gallar, Longo, Hernandez.
